New member here. I just bought this beautiful '77 over the weekend. I have longed for one of these trucks for a long time, and just couldn't resist this one. I picked it up near Milwaukee on Saturday and drove it 200 miles home to Iowa. Truck has a 305 with a quadrajet, and 87k original miles. I especially like the exterior decor package. I was kinda bummed at first because I thought the SPID label was missing, then I found it stuck to the back of the owner's manual. I was surprised to see it had the wooden bed floor, which is still there under the drop-in bed liner. It also just had a new headliner installed which looks pretty sharp. Anyway, here's a few pics.

Only 87,700 miles.

Thanks for all the comments. No immediate plans for it, it's going to go into storage here in another week or so. Next summer I will try to fix the little things it needs, like the temp gauge not working, and the dome light doesn't work when opening the driver's side door. The truck has virtually no rust on the body, and underneath is very clean as well, except for the passenger side floor support. It is rusted out on the outboard side, but the floor plans are all solid. I have an '09 Silverado as well that I love, but man I love driving this old Cheyenne.

Love it! It looks like it's in fantastic shape. Great color combo, the stripes are awesome, and I really like the hood ornaments on these pickups. You don't see 'em often.
