Actually,, I ordered this thing way back in MAY but there is such a backorder on them you get on a waiting list!! I JUST got it last week. It's a stupid long wait for a chineese POS tool, but no one in the US makes anything even close for the money (< $3k with a very small collection of tooling)
but WOW,, I've already made PILES of aluminum dust just learning to set things up, and actually the first real project was fixing something for the wife so the cost got justified right out of the gate. Already have a LONG list of small projects and pieces that I've tried to make by hand,, and now can make them and make them RIGHT. This thing is more fun than a trip to the bar,,, well... almost

I just did my taxes and reviewed my SS statement. Thanks to the current administration it looks like I will only have to work till noon on the day of my funeral. |

yup, just single phase 220, there not a very high tech or overly powerfull machine, but slow and steady 'works' when you need something no one makes LOL

I have been shopping for one also . Missed a Smitty down the road . Most machine shops around here dont want to mess with small jobs . Nice machine and Merry Christmas .
