Price of a new 1984 c10 Silverado fully equipped?

Is there anywhere that I can check the list price in 1984 of a new, fully equipped, C10 Silverado?

I remember when the new 88 models first hit the ground at the dealer, they had about ten 87 Silverados left on the lot going for $9999.00 in big bold numbers on the windshield. It sucked I couldn't get one, all were short wheel bases and a few of them were even stepsides.

I bought a new GMC Sierra Classic, Short Bed Fleet, fully loaded with the 4.3 V6, it was $10,300.00 before TT&L.

It as a special order, Midnight Blue, heavy half ton, the only option I didnt get was the V8 ( my dad had a cow and wouldnt co-sign the note if I got the V8) I worked at the dealer at the time.

Re: Price of a new 1984 c10 Silverado fully equipped?

I ordered the invoices on some of my trucks. Pretty neat if the spid is gone. They tell all of the options. The first one is from my 84 scottsdale diesel. The second is the 82 silverado 4x4 diesel. They show the prices of the options.

I would also like to know where to purchase said invoices from...I have the RPO plate in perfect condition in the glove box, but I would like the original invoice if possible!

Ditto.

That would be nice to see what mine came with from the factory. Especially since the SPID is long gone.

Not to make this a plotical issue, but I do see corporate greed here. NC for tires but if you want gears in the rear axle it's $35-36 more But look at the bright side the bench seats were free!!!!

Re: Price of a new 1984 c10 Silverado fully equipped?

For American built cars and trucks, you can order a copy of your specific vehicle invoice for $50 through the GM Heritage Center archive:

http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/

This is for vehicles starting in the mid 1970's.

If your truck was built in Canada or built for Canadian use, you can also get build information through GM of Canada.

Yes Keith is right. I got mine from the GM Heritage Center.
They have GMC from 1976 and newer.
They have Chevy from 1977 and newer.
