Question about stock tank

Anyone know how many gallons a stock fuel tank in my 1964 GMC pickup holds? I can't find the information, and have no manuals for the truck. Thanks!

Re: Question about stock tank

Chevy had 17.5 gal tanks as standard with 20.5 gal tanks as optional. MOST of the GMC trucks that I had seen had the 20.5 gal tanks in them. The larger tank went completely from one side of the cab to the other while the smaller tank has several inches before it reached the pass side.

Alright, that answers my question. Mine doesn't go all the way over on the passenger side, so it must be the 17.5. Thank you very much!
