Im doing the 5 lug swap on a 68 stepside I have boss 338s that are going on I have found some good deals on 315 35 20 & 275 40 20 combos. Im going to tub the bed so the 315s fit but are the 275s going to be too wide for the front? with a 5.5 or should I go for 245 40 20s

Darthwall -- do you have the early rear end housing ? How much are you tubbing it? I'll help you any way I can.

As far as I know it is a 68 rear end unless its the odd 70 the width is perfect as it is the wheels will tuck in nicely im only going to do 3" to clear the tires and will use the fleetside wheel wells to make it look good
