Smile So....what'd ya get?

My wife got me a pair of 2 1/2" drop spindles and front coil springs for my truck. I guess it paid to have a "Wish List" from Summit. She told me that's how she knew what to get me. I'm stoked I'm a lot closer to getting my 85 disc brake suspension in my 64. Yeah!!!!

Re: So....what'd ya get?

I'm ready to try my first hand at welding. I got an Eastwood MIG135 welder, a cart and auto darkening helmet from Harbor Freight, and some welding gloves. Heading out tomorrow to pick up some gas and then it's practice, practice, practice till I feel confident enough to attack the cab of my 66.

Re: So....what'd ya get?

My loving wife got me my tonneau cover for Christmas. Painted it 2 weeks ago and put it on last week. this was ALL her idea. I did some of the research though (I have another post on my cover). this was about 2 months in the making (early gift
Plus she spent quite a bit of time putting together an album of my build. I have about 400 pics on my website. She put together a 54 page album that included a lot of my pics and text I already had on my build pages.
Can't wait to have the album displayed at a show

Re: So....what'd ya get?

Wonder what a custom tonneau cover would look like if it shared some of the hood lines instead of the flat blank panel.
