67--72 chevy doors

Happy holidays guys,

I was recently looking thru some aftermarket parts catalogs for doors.

I noticed on a couple of the sites that they had a different pat number for 72 doors. Same part num. for 67 thru 71--but diff. for 72.

I had always heard/been told that all doors for 67-72 were the same. (now Im sure there is diff. chrome pcs---but the doors themselves were the same (as were 67-72 GMC dors)

I have recently come onto a 72 that could be bought for parts-----whatever I get has to fit my 68.

Any help??? anyone know this answer for sure??

Thanks and once again-----I hope we all have a good new year----with plenty of time and money for our projects!!!

Re: 67--72 chevy doors

The doors will fit, but the 72 uses an extra screw under the wing window, and take the molded, plastic door panels with different regulators. This can all be changed if needed. The biggest thing is the screw under the window.
