Incoming cool air setup.
What kind of setup do you have for pulling cool air from outside the truck? I am trying to decide on what setup would be best for getting cool air to the carb. I have a 71 C10.

Right now I don't run a hood, have a K&N Filter as well as a K&N Top filter.
When I put the fiberglass front end on (with 4" cowl), I will make an air pan and pull cool air front the cowl.

Cowl hood with a lexan air pan sealed to the underside with the regular old Moroso foam kit.

That master cylinder is a Mopar type.
I run a 7" cowl hood on my Chevy II Super Gas car and I have a air bell with an air pan that seals against the hood:  Here's the one I fabricated for a friend who's engine was mounted at stock height:  Here's what I'm building for the C-10:
