carb calibration?
when im driving my truck sometimes i give it gas and it suddenly pops and seems as if it dies and then accelerates again, my concern is, is this a sign of a badly calibrated carb? its all new, so i wouldnt think its gunked up, im just curious as id thought it was good, another thing is, there was probably only 7 bucks of gas in the tank all together, so would low gas cause that? i filled it up with gas and it seemed to stop but it may be a coincidence. would a dirty gas tank cause it as well? i have a fuel filter thats really clean looking, nothing in the element, im just curious for the cause, help! its really annoying me ha i cant stop thinking about it.

Re: carb calibration?
The gas level will not cause running problems and the filter will stop fouling . For the problem you explained , I would check the adjustment on the choke first . If you don't know how , get a repair manual at the library and it will walk you through the basic steps .
