Mirror Opinions
I need to put some mirrors on my 65 C20. I don't really like the stock mirrors. I do like the little door edge peep mirrors but I think they might look kind of small/unproportional on a 3/4 ton, longbed truck. I'm not real sure what the name of this type of mirror is, but I think they would look good on the truck:
I don't know for sure if any 65s came with mirrors similar to this, so I would like to get some opinions. Was this mirror style available on any 60s models? Does anyone have mirrors like this on their trucks? Would they look alright? Anybody have mirrors like this for sale? Thanks. |

Ahhh, west coast mirrors, wonder why they call them that. Thanks, now I know what to search for.

Re: Mirror Opinions
Lots of trucks had the "west coast" style mirrors. They're totally appropriate/correct for your truck. See factory assembly pic.

Re: Mirror Opinions
If you decide to go with the west coast mirror's they make a pretty bad blind spot when your driving. I had them on a van and it took some getting used to at corners and stop signs.

Re: Mirror Opinions
Another mirror that is in the 63 shop manual. I have never seen this mirror in person though.
