Question on the first pic, were those fender shirts ever offered from factory? or even after marrket? I wonder if they are hard to make.

I don't think they ever were offered from the factory, but a guy sells them on ebay for around $125 a pair (fiberglass).

Me too. I'll probably go with white if I end up putting on scallops, just wanted to see different color combos on light blue .

Steel aftermarket fenders skirts were available for these trucks back in the 60's, but they weren't very popular. I only ever saw one set on a red stepside back around 1967.

I believe the owner of this truck made his own. I think he's a member but I don't remember his name:

i love scallops on these old trucks! i really like the looks of that black gmc with the chrome nose on it.lol thats a picture of my truck that i had someone photo shop with that paint scheme! i always liked it..kind of surprised to see it on here. :P
