86 k1500 4WD

hey guys, this may be a dumb question but i have a 86 k1500 4WD and i cant figure out what to do with the front hubs for the 4WD lockers...... The caps wont go on my rims... I would post a picture but i have no clue how

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you trying to lock your hubs? Are you trying to put on hub caps?

It sounds like you are trying to put closed center wheel caps on which doesn't work. You need an open center cap that you should be able to get from whoever you got your wheels from. But a picture IS worth a 1000 words...

can u tell me how to post a pic? i will... can u buy different caps? because it comes off with an allen screw. im not putting on hubcaps, im putting on 20 inch rims and the centercaps for the rims will not fit because of the fourwheeldrive hub.. I dont know if i can buy different centercaps for the rims, if u can shorten the hub, or if there are certain rims i need to buy
