What extreme do you go to for parts??? (hooks)

Walking through a yard the other day and something told me to look up. I normally wouldn't go to this extreme, but the yard owner and and a yard guy kept an eye on me. Been on there so long i snapped the bolts getting them off. Unfortunately they both curl the same way as a couple others i have. Good thing i am tall and not always so bright.......

We all do stuff others think is dumb, and sometimes it is, but it does make for a good story later. Heck I'd have done it.

Nice work Eric. I look high and low for parts, but I don't think it has been quite that high.

Sorry I never got back to you about the locking hubs, I should have emailed you earlier. They where gone by the time I called the guy back, but I will keep my eye out for others.

Re: What extreme do you go to for parts??? (hooks)

Deadhead, they are correct for 60-68 truck front hooks.
Leroy, i have found others on busses in the past, but not very often.
Nigel, captain hook... i like that.
Blacksheep, you are 100% correct.
Brain, i figured the hubs were gone, but thanks for trying.
Rob, i am 6'6".( you probably remember that) I was teetering on a motorcycle frame trying to pull a 24" breaker bar towards me will the bus was moving slightly everytime i pulled. I had thoughts.......
Strange winter, we just got a little snow recently.
