60-62 63-66 oem fleetside rear bumper diff?
So besides the brackets, what is different on the 60/62 to the 63/66 rear factory fleetside bumper?

the 60-62 rear frame is wider, so the holes for the brackets are a little farther to the outside of each side of the bumper on the 60-62

So are all four bumper bolts in the bumper face in a different spot between the two styles of bumpers?

In the picture I have (on the back of the lmc catalog) , it looks like all four are in different spots

Re: 60-62 63-66 oem fleetside rear bumper diff?
Thanks for the info. I found an earlier oem rear bumper on a pickup box trailer local that was pretty good shape. So it might be worth the extra work to restore it or modify the brackets to work on the 66.

Re: 60-62 63-66 oem fleetside rear bumper diff?
All I would do is get some extra long bolts, and then use some square/rectangular metal tubing to gap the space between the frame rail and the brackets... this is assuming that the bumper is to be for the "look" and not to pull a trailer
