Re: 72 K20 Cab Body & Paint Complete!

Thanks litew8 and fakerwade. It is now starting to look like a truck. Can't wait to get the bed finished and bolted on and then finish bolting on the front half.

Decided to coat the bottom of the bed with a 2 part bedliner material that TP Tools sells. My buddy Bill, who did all the paint and body work, is going to spray both the bottom and top of the bed. The bottom is going to get a light coat and the top will get a heavier coat. Will probably also spray it on the bottom of the cab.

Can't decide whether to apply the bedliner material to the top of the bed rails or just up to the bottom of the top rails. I keep changing my mind. I plan on using the truck to haul stuff every now and then and I think it will help protect the tops of the rails a lot better.

Will search the site and see what others have done. Appreciate any opinions.

It's going to look awesome either way but if it were me I'd avoid coating the bedrails. These can be protected on the occasions you haul a load but lets you see more orange.....

BTW: Here's a truck on my local CL ( http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/2775000969.html )that looks very similar to ours....tempting!
