What hood has two raised edges on the sides on top

i found a hood has two raised edges on the sides ont he top of the hood ? sitting on a 55 panel is that stick for panels only ? i kinda like it better then the flat hood

57 are like that. I'd trade you in a hot second if we weren't so far apart.

57 is a one year only hood with raised ridges. '55 - '56 are flat, '58 - '59 have the sunken center.

Stolen directly off the net this one even has the chrome ornaments that I think were a dealer installed item.

I looked though a batch of photo of 57 trucks and all but two had had the hoods changed to 55/56 hoods.

I was leaving work, we have one of those guard gates with arm the goes up and down. The steel clip the holds the innards in the master cylinder broke, let the piston assembly come out too far where it hung up. brake pedal froze at the top. cruised right through at about 5MPH. broke it off and trashed the glass. Now I know how to change the windshield. Local glass warehouse had one in stock for $195.

I really want a 55-6 hood to go with my grill. having a hard time finding a cheap used 56-6 steering wheel to. 200 for a re-pop, ugh.

i might be able to get a steeringwheels its a panel being parted out up the road from my house the thing sooo rotted not worth it unless your really into 55 panels ,its prettymuch all complete 265 4 speed i can see what i can get the steering wheel for it has a 55 -56 front end grille but the raised style hood like on the 57 ,ill take some pics of it
