Its Wenesday 4th here in Australia so in my world its allready gone,

It looks like it was originally turquois, if the cab was in a bit better unpainted shape it would of fixed my big back window fettish.

So i e-mailed the seller, he says he still has it and can meet somone anytime this week if they want to see it.
Might make a good parts truck, little hard to tell by the pics just how bad it is. Seems like it Could be a good deal for someone looking for 55 GMC stuff.

It'd be great if we could figure out how to start some kinda Truck Trust. Sorta like a Ophanage that takes them in, heals them in a sensible manner and finds a good home for them .

If I didn't live 2200 miles away I would gladly pick that truck up. Scrapping him will get him $600 at the most for it here in Ohio.

Makes me laugh that this guy says he's gonna flatten it because he's so frustrated with it. Obviously, he doesn;t have the temperment for this hobby. That is unless he's got a very fat wallet! At least I'm laughing until he REALLY DOES flatten it. Then I'd be pissed. That's a very nice starting point for $1K. Bumpers, all chrome on a GMC, big window...it has it all unless its rotted as hell.

Like I said if I lived closer I would pick this thing up, hell if I could get it delivered to Ohio cheap enough I would buy and have it picked up. I odn't need another project but would take a GMC big back window in a heart beat.

Re: Some one save this truck

Nice one south of it too, another big window with lots of parts. emailed him its not running, so another trailer job. I have the room to store them both if someone wants to buy and haul. http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/2780614320.html

Re: Some one save this truck

I'm not sure but by his add and his response to my Email i would surmise that the scrappers have been harassing him, due to his CL add. The last rig i had posted for sale on CL i was bombarded by scrappers wanting to give me 50$ for a 63 country squire. And i was getting pissed. So i could understand the frustration. Nonetheless i'm with dan, i would really be pissed to see it get scrapped.
