1 ton rear flip ??
Does anyone offer the u shaped bracket to flip the rear axle like they do for a halfton? I found some that came with notches, but i want to make my own notches.

I know our driveshaft shop will make any size U bolts you may need. Check in your local area.

Not looking for ubolts. I'm looking for the bracket that locates the housing on the spring when you do a flip. I have found them for a 1/2 ton but not for the 1 ton.

shouldnt any flip kit work on a one ton? the axles are the same o.d. right? only think i could think of would be a thicker leaf pack but my western chassis flip kit came with really long U-bolts. im running 5 leafs and the overload adn there is still enough room for 3 or 4 more

My 14 bolt ff 1ton axle measures almost 3.5" and my 1/2 ton measures just over 3".
I looked at our local hardware/farm store and they have spring perches that will work. I think i will go that route. |
