LMC u bolts (front)
Anyone used the LMC 9/16 u-bolts for the lower front suspension? I debating to buy the new 9/16s from them with the order of my front bump stops or just use the 1/2s i have now.
Any thoughts?

Re: LMC u bolts (front)
I got some from napa. The were listed for 1973 and newer but they are the same except the bolt is overall a little thicker. They are grade 8 and look good i think.

ALso, i don't suppose you could PM me with the trick on how you adjusted the A-arm shafts to get a nice fit could you? I'm having a ***** of a time getting them centered and torqued. Thanks Glen

Re: LMC u bolts (front)
I left mine semi-loose (after measuring them equal front to back) until I had all the weight on the front end (minus sheet metal) and they settled where they wanted to be, measured again so I had both sides the same, set my caster and camber, toe etc. then torqued them down. All that will have to be done again at the alignment shop but I'm real close.
All that was done after I had the springs back in and seated properly (this was the hard part for me as I was dealing with springs with a half a coil cut off). Hope this helps.

Re: LMC u bolts (front)
If I'm not mistaken, isn't there a notch in the lower a-arm shaft to help align with the bracket on the x-member...as well
