sure did...not a change from the rusted bondo filled junk i cut out of it...
actually bought these when i was on vacation from a place in huber heights (dayton) ohio called restoration world...www.resto-world.com...

just laying them on the old fender they fit like a glove

pulled the bed today to get access to the cab corners....

Nice start! If you don't mind, what are the dimensions of the fuel cell? It looks like it fits real well.

dont know the dimensions...but i'll measure it tomorrow..i actually have a new 67 mustang tank from an old project in my basement that i was thinking about using...still up in the air though...just want to fix all of the rust and whatnot now

tank is 2' 1" side to side
1'5" front to back
9 inches deep

todays progress...have some finish grinding left and have to weld a brace because i eliminated the inner cab corner...other than that the floor will need to be filled (going to do that later when the cab is lifted off the frame)..

could be better..i expected worse..so i am happy
