Cadillac CTS seat swap.

Since I put a Cadillac engine in my truck, I decided I wanted Cadillac seats also. I found a set with all power, heated leather from a 2005 CTS.

Re: Cadillac CTS seat swap.

Do you have a pic of the seats at the back glass. How far do they stick up into the back glass? They look really nice in the pics.

This is a crew cab. I'll try to estimate how far when I get home.

Re: Cadillac CTS seat swap.

Hey 1981Sturgis,,,, was checking out the thread on the videos of the wild sounding engines and am interested in your project. I see where you have the front driveshaft installed,,,so how did you marry the 500 Caddy to the tranny to the transfer case? which tranny and transfer case did you use?
I have an 80 K10 that has a 350 that just does not make the torque that I need to pull my trailer that this 500 will surely put out and probably without all the power adders you have installed on yours. Sounds really nice.

Re: Cadillac CTS seat swap.

I swapped out the output shaft of a Chevy T400 4x4 into a BOP(Cadillac) T400. I bolted a NP205 to that.

Re: Cadillac CTS seat swap.

Do those seats require a BCM to function?

Re: Cadillac CTS seat swap.

The control modules are in the seat. just need power, ground, and switches for the heaters. I wont hook the memory 'cause I'm the only driver.

Looks like you have a chrome diamond plate box between the two seats. Got any pics of that as well?
