Side trim
My truck is out for paint now and I'm thinking about replacing the aluminum side trim on my 77. Anyone have experience with the aftermarket trim from Classic Parts, LMC or Classic Industries?

I believe 77 was the only year that the side trim had the yellow stripe inside it.(may be wrong about this) It is really rare to find good stuff.

^ yep, 77 was the only year with the yellow in the trim., you could always paint it into the new trim i guess

Yes... Mine was yellow but was repainted black many years ago. The truck is Black with red interior so I'm going to stay away from the yellow.

Dave and Cory, '75 Gentleman Jims had the yellow trim as well
 Otherwise it was 77 only.

I bought a complete set from LMC. I havent opened it all yet but what i have opened looks nice.

just seen a guy on craigslist here that said he had some nos trim for a short box fleet side doesnt say what color pin stripe or a price, yours a short bed or long bed?

They are good companies to deal with, HOWEVER, when you open the package and it says "CORVEX" send it back, it's JUNK. 3 differentent makes of cars, different sets of trim, all JUNK. Good luck, Ron
