Re: Sway bar sizes

I can't tell you how much it will help in the handling but I pulled my front sway bar off a one ton dually and it's 1-1/4" in diameter. My old bar is 1". I still haven't got around to installiing my new sway bar yet, I'm going to wait until I do my disc brake installation and do it all at once.

Re: Sway bar sizes

C20's & C30's had 1.25" sway bars; C10's were usually 1 1/16" or 1 1/8".

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Sway bar sizes

I have been told by a GM parts man, that the earlier `78 and earlier sway bars are stronger than the newer heavier bars.....!
