Not really a question, just an interesting mod. I don't care about "correct". (No points). Started out just looking to replace the mounts. Looks like the '73-up stands is what I have. Engine sits and fits, so I'll install the new rubber and move on. Thanks for the info.

As mentioned above a lot of folks switch to the clam shell later style emgine stands and mounts because it is a WAY better set up!
