HELP...th350 problem
just got new engine running..the tranny is a forward pattern manual valve body..it is pouring fluid out of the vent..I have a deep aluminum pan and filter extension on it..what could it be???? The dip stick dosent show over full..but its gushing out

The only thing that I can think of (and not sure if this could cause that) but did you by any chance plug the inlet/outlet lines for the cooler?

theres too much pressure somehow but it still shouldnt be blowing fluid out the vent. is the tranny cooler hooked up as randy said. i have run a manual valve body and the line pressures are unbelieveably high. did you put it together or did someone else. if someone else did it its time to give em a shout and see what the hell he did

Sounds like a pump passage is plugged in the valve body or 1 of the balls is in a wrong hole in the valve body?

I think I figured it out...not enuff fluid...added some more(a little too much) and it dosent leak nearly as bad

a th400 pump pressure is 210 psi...would think the 350 is some where close to that....
