Re: Help please.

cb's actually work better with 1 antenna because with 2 the are fighting each other. thats what the local cb shop told me when he installed on my peterbilt. trucks look better with 2 but use one just for show.

Re: Help please.

go with the 102" whip. Then you can break out all the lights at the gas station so you will never see the price of fuel

X2, get a wilson 1000 steel whip and mount it in the center for best performance. If you still want the dual fiberglass mount them just for looks. Dual anntenas are hard to set the SWRs

Re: Help please.

Dual antennas on your pickup isn't going to help your CB propagation at all, you just don't have the spacing needed. Phasing antennas is an ok way to go as long as you have the spacing between antennas, min 1/4 wave length and you have a phasing harness. If you want it for looks, then only connect one of them to the radio and have the other as a dummy antenna, it will however react as a parasitic array, but this isn't going to cause you any real problems.
As for color, I'd go with White with a Red tip.

Re: Help please.

I have a 4' Firestik... Black with a red tip. it looks decent. it would look good on your truck as well because of your two tone red/black

Re: Help please.

A cobra 29 and a 102 whip will do you solid no need for anything fancier really
