1987 issues / Help Please

Im in the process of my first 87 swb re-build. 1st issue is with the engine. I put a Comp Cam (268) in an otherwise stock 350/ TBI set-up. Do I need a E-prom change ? Having idle issues.

2nd question.... Have located a rear end from a 1990 454ss. It is supposed to be a stock application 373 posi. What issues will I face trying to install into my 1987 ??

Thanks in advance for any help !!!!

This should help with your cam selection. http://www.tbichips.com/truckmods.htm

The rear axle will have a different spring perch width and shock mount location, not a direct swap without welding/modification.
