Body colour has a lot to do with it in my opinion and with the body colour you have there (flat black) on the truck and the red rallys....white walls is the way to go. You want contrast for overall appearance sake and that will line things up nicely.
If the truck was white.....no way.
Looks good tho'.

4/6 drop, leave the WW's and 'Police' centers. (the smooth / moon type)

Or stuff it with 20/22" Coys in black. Have you seen the new satin ones they have now?

^^^^^^^
I disagree, I usually don't like ww's, however, that's the route I'm going for *one* look on my bagged stepper

As for the poll, blackballs and beautyrings if stock height...white walls with a drop...but fatter than those

Re: White Walls or No White Walls

Mooseknuckles you are stepping on my toes now. I do plan to change my white letters but the tires are new.

Anyway, my opinion. If you plan to leave the current paint scheme, which I know you want to change, leave the whites on. If you remove the whites, add some trim rings to seperate the black from the white.

Re: White Walls or No White Walls

Oh and my wife decided she likes the blackwalls and that i should paint the truck gloss black instead of semi or flat......

I think for now, i am going to stick with the blackwalls. Real reason? i dont want to buy the Atlas inserts for looks until i am done with the truck. Still have a lot of work left to go.

So when i get close to completion i.e... Paint, body work etc. Then i will probably either go back with the white walls or.........???????

Not really been thinking about new rims. Though i wouldnt turn down a set of Cragar rallys........

Re: White Walls or No White Walls

If you're going to stay with the retro look go whitewalls, performance look go raised white letter, restomod with lowered and thin sides go blackwall.

Cheers,

Haha, they are already disposed of. THey were just inserts.......Atlas White Wall Inserts. 1 started ripping and coming apart so i pulled them all off and they were getting in pretty rough shape.
