Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

I am linking this for a guy I know. I have seen the truck and can get more info if anyone is interested. There is a little rust in the gutter on the pass side, floors seem to be good. The truck is in Red Mountain, small town on 395.

Looks like it has a highlander seat.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

I believe it is a highlander seat in good shape with matching door panels. The tailgate is really nice, 2 small dents with no bow. I took some better pics to post here later. He was asking $1250 but wants it gone so will take less.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

I would think a little more in the description and a better interior photo would help to sell it. options?

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

Took new photos of the interior, cant post them from work so they will be up tomorrow. I will try an give a better description when I post them. It is an ac cab, I have not seen under the hood. Both doors have rust on the bottom. No tach or tilt but the dash is clean and uncut.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

Best of luck on this. I live 27 miles from this truck and it has been sitting there for almost two years. It has no drive train from what I remember, but it is a decent GMC 3/4 ton. It would make a great restore or parts truck and is nice and straight. I offered 600 to 800 for it but he would not take it. There are running, no rust trucks selling for a thousand here in Ridgecrest all the time. Good luck on this, I hope you get it.

I agree and I am just trying to help the guy. I think he will take less at this point. It has no motor but does have a th400.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

Cool Brother,
I hope he does get it. It just eats at me that it just sits. It has allot of potential and GMC's are more scarce in this area. That is cool it still has the tranny. Please keep posting about it, so I know he got it. I passed by it twice today and it is still there looking good.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

Must be nice to be able to pass on trucks like that IMHO are too cheap to imagine here. That looks like new compared to the junk we have to choose from here in the rust belt.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

Well I talked with him today and I think he is ready to sell for less. If someone were to make him a serious cash offer he will probably take it. He can be a difficult guy to deal with so be warned. If he thinks your wasting his time he will blow you off. He is looking for a m14 also, any military weapon may get his attention for a trade.

Re: Craigslist 72 GMC 3/4

You hit the nail on the head there. I didn't want to mention that and affend someone. He is very difficult and has been known to have slammed the door on a few people around here. Are you gonna get it?
