Re: C-10 roof rack?????
There's a local guy with a '55 GMC long wheelbase panel truck with a rack on top, he uses it for his plumbing business. I don't have any pics but its a beast of a truck!
I did find a couple pics of chevy's with racks from a quick google search. Couldn't find any trucks with cab racks though. This website hase some pics of a rack on a suburban, and some pics of how the rack was made. http://www.1965classiccar.com/roof_rack.htm VW single and double cabs trucks are commonly seen with racks on them. If anyone was interested in a rack for their truck they could look into some of the guys that make racks for VW's and see if they would custom make one for a C10. http://eycoracks.com/

Re: C-10 roof rack?????
That's a nice looking Burb SWMNBOY!
Here's something I put together trying to imitate the very pricey Carpac style. I'm sure their worth it, but too much for me. It's more for looks than functionality as I wouldn't be putting anything real heavy on top.

Re: C-10 roof rack?????
This got me to thinking, I wonder if you could make one out of 1/2 coldroll steel? Kinda make it like the vw ones.

That Is awesome Musicman. You should make up instructions and sell them. I would buy a set. I am always looking for the used Carpac but I never find them anywhere.
