Cool Rare '68 Toy
I rarely go on Ebay. I have to be pretty bored. I've searched around and found some pretty rare or unusual stuff before. I found this truck and wanted it bad. It's about a 1/18 scale,10+" long. I don't use PayPal so I always have to ask sellers, first,if they'll accept a m.o. There wasn't much time left, but I got a reply and bid to win. It was at $10-12 and I just put in a it over $50 and didn't check back until it was over. That was crazy money, but I figured it was allowed a safe margin to not be out bid. Well, someone really wanted it because in the last minute the same bidder bid three times until they beat my max bid by an increment. Well,I lost but that person didn't get it cheap, either.lol

Re: Cool Rare '68 Toy
Think it does have side markers,as I recall. They just don't show up in the pictures. But,the knobs on the dash and seat belts are the 68-72 type
Pretty funny it has GMC on the hood, huh? Hey!...See?...That's '68 too!!! Maybe they weren't around long enough for the toy designers to notice the proper do and don'ts. Ertl made Matchbox sized GMC die cast Fendersides that say Chevrolet on the tailgate. I guess that makes it even. This thing even has the right wheel covers. I'll prolly never see another. I like camper stuff, too. (Glad I didn't have to pay $50 though)

I'll keep my eye out at swap meets for one. If I can score it for under $50 I'll give it to you for what I pay....deal?

Re: Cool Rare '68 Toy
Deal! it ain't your average die cast they make now, that's for sure. i think it's a pretty good replica for something that was made for kids to play with and it's cool that it's from that time.
