Is there a thread for just mirrors? Need mirror pics.

I bought some peep mirrors for my '66 GMC long stepper but I can't seem to get them to fit anywhere I might want them to be, due to the "Custom" aluminum trim piece that runs around the window frame.

I'd like to see what others have done for a small (not Western or big trucker) but retro/rat/rod mirror. Especially if you have a Custom cab GMC.

If there's a thread already I apologize, if not, post up your mirrors please.

Here are a couple of earlier threads on peep mirrors, but not much to offer for a GMC with door trim:

It seems the only way peeps will work on a trimmed GMC will require either removing a section of the trim, or removing the clamp and somehow permanently mounting the mirror below the trim.

Thanks! I like that "rare" GMC stock mirror. I have about fifteen holes in my door from the PO mounting all kinds of "supports" on his truck mirrors.

I would like to see what other people have done, also besides peeps.
