Re: Heads, which one to buy!

I'm not familiar with chevy head specifics, but on what I do know about you would want to find a a closed chamber style head and make sure the piston is @ zero deck....assuming you have adequate valve clearance. Do the "flat tops" have valve reliefs?

You would have to calculate your compression ratio as well. If it's over 10:1, you will want a set of aluminum heads, assuming you have proper quench....aka piston @ zero deck...in order to run well on pump gas.

Re: Heads, which one to buy!

Looking at those cam specs it's a performance street that should go well with any factory cylinder head since most all gm cylinder heads are weak on the exhaust side so my suggestion would be to go with some iron vortechs or if you can afford some aluminum ones scoggin dickey has some nice heads that handle large amounts of lift
Another option is dart and world heads another option for you that is a lot cheaper than cylinder heads is higher lift rockers since your cam has yet to reach over .500 lift. And if you really feel that the heads Are killing power 202 valves and a three angle valve job with some minor port blending will help a lot
