Parts on ebay

I just was looking around on the net and I found this site. I have some parts that I am getting rid of on ebay. Thought I might put them down here too.

Thanks
John

2429654030 6 inch gear drive tach-------------- 25.00

2430202803 New ball joints---------------------- 5.00

2430203670 front brake pads from Warner----------- 1.00

2429740621 New sway bar bushings---------------- 5.00

2430203385 New control arm bushings------------ 5.00

These are the prices that they are at as of 8:44 a.m. EST.
I will be putting more new items for these trucks. I just want to get rid of all of it.
Sorry about not putting the prices, I figured that people would just go to ebay like they always do and punch the auction number in. That is not that hard to do. Because I have seen other people putting their parts on this page with just a link. So why are you gettnig nasty with me Shane? If you all are interested I will have more automotive items on there.

Thank you,
John

By the way I am in Ky

I know your new here ... but you need to read the rules. No posting of parts for sale without listing the prices and your location.

John (splendidfoods),

I was not trying to be nasty with you ... I'm sorry if you took it that way.

Here is a PM i recieved from this guy in response to my last post.

Quote:
Thanks for the comment but,

Why don't you go and get on someone else's ass about the rules for I am new here and the other people have their stuff on ebay that just post a link. I am sorry that I do not know how to post links here and I probally will not because I am selling my parts and do not have the want or the need for these rust buckets anymore. And I do not need people like you to get snotty with me. So why don't you be kind and get all over the other board members asses that do not post prices and just links.

Thank you and have a nice day,
John

Sorry man you just rubbed me the wrong way, and I am not in a good mood.
No, You sir should have a nice day ... sounds like you need it more than me.

No shane,

That was the way it looked to me because there are some other posts here for ebay and they might have links but no prices, and it just seemed like you were trying to pick on the new guy. I am sorry if I sound a little defensive but I am the type of person who will stick up for myself and not let anyone walk all over me. If that is not the way that you meant it you should not type it that way. Because it does sound a little snotty to me, If it is not I do apoplogize for the rudeness. It's just that I grew up with people walking all over me and I just do not stand for it anymore.

My apologies.
John

Welcome to the board from here also.
There are a few on here that are a pain but most are not that way. I just met one yesterday. Richardweed, ya know.
But as I think it was meant, if you will add your price, year and location, you will have better responses. Even though it is a rule of the board, it is a good rule anywhere. I get very frustrated to go to a link and find it is for 67 fenders. I do not have a 67 and it would have saved me time to avoid ebay. Or I get there and the price or location are too far for me.
Hope this makes sense and doesnt ruffle any feathers.
BTW, Randy, that last line is classic. I will post it at work. Attitude, schmattitude. LOL

um....welcome? Is it too late to say that? lol

Splendidfoods you seem to be WAY too reactionary to what people are saying. Take it easy. As a new member posting on the parts board you have to be able to take a *tiny* bit of criticism about the rules if you fudge them. Everyone here has made a mistake, or maybe asked a dumb question about a truck, and had someone "realign" them. It's no big deal.

Nothing Phil or Shane said to begin with was remotely out of line. No one's personally insulting you by telling you to read the rules. That's just absurd. You made it a personal thing right off the bat, and now it's grown out of control. Just chill, dude. No one's going to respond to your posts if you have a history of blowing up on them if they don't agree with what you've posted...

Good luck.

OhBoy. Im new here but wow, I would say that splendidfood needs to apoligize to a few guys here. Shane,Randy and Phillip.
They didnt do anything to you and you dictated to them that you dont have to go by Josh's rules. Eveyone here has the same rules.I think you need to look at how you have treated the members here and say you are sorry. You have a few things that I need but I will not buy them on eBay. I will buy hem here from some member that I see everyone trusts. Phillip has alot of posts, thus, I would trust him. The same goes for alot of other people. I come here and read posts alot but hve yet to post or buy. That is going to change as I just bought a real fixer upper.
I see the guys you did a major attitude slam on need to get your apoligy. I would never com on here and start blasting everyone that asked me to read the rules. You shouldnt either. Otherwise, you could just keep to yourself and keep cooking. Just an opinion from another new guy.

Lets get one thing straight

I never said that I would not go by anyone's rules. And my major beef with these people (once again). Is that there are other people on here that post parts that are on ebay and I do not see anyone else getting a post saying that they need to read the rules. As for the apology sorry but that has already been done. If they cannot accept that well so be it. As for people not buying stuff off of ebay well that is there opinion. I am not bashing anyone that has not got on me first. That is a unfair compromise (WHEN OTHER PEOPLE HAVE EBAY POSTS). What are other people excluded from "hey why don't you read the rules, slogan". Now, If you would humor me a little and look at the other posts that pertain to Ebay, you would see my defense. If not that is fine. So how about if we just drop it and go on with life and forget about it because I am not apologizing anymore, Like I have previously in the other replies. Super if you do not want to buy off of ebay that is cool, but there are millions of other people who do. I am trying to let it go but no one is letting me. I have already gotten a warning and so has everyone else so lets just drop it already I will not post anymore. There are a lot of decent people on this board and there are others who really bite mainly ones on this post with the exception of a Huck and superand some others. Oh and by the way TRUST: He does not know me from Adam, How can one sit there and say that he does not trust me just because we have a conflict of interest? He has sat here and pointed his finger at someone who is very trustworthy, I have never given anyone a reason to doubt me!

Thank you,
John

I hope that you all do not treat other new members this way.

Splendidfoods, i just got done looking at the other post that JOSH stoped. And well You should have just ignored the thread and forgot about it. All the guys you were having problums with were right, as were you, but rules are rules are rules. I am not trying to step on your toes or piss you off or nothing, but just calm down and have a good time here on the board, and the he!! with everything else. Dont get so up set about something so little as posting a price and a location. I would have posted this on the other thread but josh turned it off. Like i said above welcome aboard and have fun here.
