Looking for pics of 72 NON AC chevy motor compartment
Does anyone have some pics of their motor compartment on a 72 chevy with NO AC. Would like to see pics that are real clean original show quality trucks, so I can get mine looking close to original. Thanks for any help, Randy

Re: Looking for pics of 72 NON AC chevy motor compartment
It's not very clean and it's not show quality, but it is a '72 factory non a/c. This is my step-dad's '72 short. Let me know if there is anything specific you need. I'll have my brother shoot some pics for me.

Stealthy 69 - that looks like a 67 or earlier small block in that 72. It has oil fill tube in the intake.

Re: Looking for pics of 72 NON AC chevy motor compartment
Nice catch. I guess I forgot to mention it was originally a 6 cylinder truck and my Step-dad added the small block later. He likes the look of those valve covers, that's why he went out of his way to find the intake. The motor and trans were out of a wrecked '71 lwb if I remember correct. Other then that, everything else under the hood is as was. Aside from the normal replaced parts from wear and tear.

Re: Looking for pics of 72 NON AC chevy motor compartment
After going back and reading your request a second time Randy, I realized mine really aren't what you were looking for at all. Shame on me for not paying attention and jumping to reply before I read all the way through. I guess I get easily distracted. Now that I think about it just yesterday I was..... ooo a penny.

Re: Looking for pics of 72 NON AC chevy motor compartment
Again these arent show quality. But an original engine bay minus the heads, manifold and carb.....
Probably not what you wanted, but may help piece together what you need....... |
