proportioning valve?
I found a mc/booster from a 72 1/2 ton for $25.00 but it doesn't have a proportioning valve with it. Will any old p valve work, or do I need a specific type? Also, I assume this booster will pretty much bolt right up and work with just a push rod modification?

Re: proportioning valve?
The 71-72 prop valve would be better.
The 73-87 version would also work,... but you will have to cap off one front line port.

Re: proportioning valve?
Assuming you have disc/drums, you will be best off with the '71-'72 unit as Keith said. The '73-'87 unit will work, but you may need the plug on one port, or just plumb accordingly. The '73-'87 will probably be easier to find in a wrecking yard though.
