CB antenae help
I want to install a cb radio in my 67 C-10. Is there anyway of hiding or at least low profiling the antenna so it doesn't show? I appreciate any help you can provide.Thanks

If memory serves me correctlely they had a radio/CB antenna. Just put it on the truck like the regular one.

Mount it in the corner of your bed, I have an old one that's about the same height as the cab. It's the same height as the cab, roughly, and it's an old RVC... I think

If you want to hide it, a magnet mount works best -- it sticks any where you set it and you can pull it off when parked. There also was a type of CB/AM/FM antenna that could drop into a 1" hole in the cowl panel. Both these types are not high performance however, the combo type being worse.
I used to run a 1/4 wave [107"-109"] whip antenna on my '67 Sub. It was cut into the passenger side rear, outside of the spare tire well. Nowadays, purists would shudder at the thought. On my '68 Stepside, I popped a 1" hole thru the rear of the drivers side rear fender. The spring mount was just forward of the "lollypop"-type taillight. That rig got out the best. People didn't believe I was running barefoot. I was even thinking of running Twin Truckers on the mirrors on my '71 Jimmy, but the experts say the antennas should be 9' apart.
