Could I trouble you to show front and rear pics that might show the wheel spacing?

Yep, I've always regretted selling the first one so this is my attempt to recreate the original. The first one was a 1 owner under 60K miles. The new one isn't near as nice but will be when I'm done.

I'll get some more pics this weekend. The rallys on the previous truck were 15x8's with 255/60's.

Re: My weekend accomplishments - '87 build

I have the same wheels sitting in the attic and have been looking for an alternative to Toyo tires. Thanks for posting this, just saved me about $300.

Any reason you didn't go with a 255/45/18 on the front? Just curious. It is a smidge taller but by less than a half inch.

Re: My weekend accomplishments - '87 build

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'll start a build thread as soon as the 5.3 swap starts.

I considered the 255's for the front, but this being the 3rd C10 I've done this drop to I knew I would already be really close to the inner fenders. I was just worried that the extra 1/2 inch would make them rub at times. It's close with the 245's! I probably only have 1.5 inches of travel before contact with the inners. You could run 255's but you would have to go EASY over bumps!

Re: My weekend accomplishments - '87 build

I better do the 245 then. I have 5" of drop and a big block.
