stepside wheel+tire help
Hey guys I have a 86 gmc stepside with 15x8 steel wheels with dog dish caps. I am wanting to replace the rear wheels with 15x10 and run the dog dish caps. My question is what tire sizes should I run to get that hotrod look on the truck and still be able to lower probably 3"? I want a fat rear tire that does not hang outside the bed.

Re: stepside wheel+tire help
It looks to me you have 15x6s on your truck not 15x8s. If you run 15x10 with 5 inch backspace you wont have any clearance issues no matter how low you go.
This is a common set up Front 15x8 4in bs 245/60/15 or 235/60/15 Rear 15x10 5ib bs 295/50/15 or 275/60/15 Check these sites out for steel wheels. www.wheelvintiques.com www.stocktonwheel.com
