Ground Wire?

Under the truck a couple of days ago re-installing the drivers lower seat belt bolt and I noticed a braided wire (looked like the material in braided hoses so I'm guessing it's braided wire?) coming from the cab to the frame. It was only a couple of inches long so I assume it is my cab-frame ground.

It looked like it got snagged on something at one point and it pretty frayed around a cut in it. I checked LMC and Classic Parts for "ground wire" and I cannot find anything on it. I can get regular wire (any gauge) easily but I bet if GM used braided wire there is a reason for it.

Is there a "ground kit" or something that I can get that would include all of the ground straps for my truck (77 c10)?

I think there is the

cab-frame
battery-frame
engine-frame

but I'm not sure how many others there are. I would like to replace all of the grounds just to be safe because if one is bad I figure the others are probably in the same shape.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks
Michael
