Just got back from weighing my truck...
On a CAT Certified Scale, with a Quarter Tank of gas, it weighed 3650...hmm..that's EXACTLY what it weighed right off the train in 75...maybe they weighed it differently back then...because since then I've taken a LOT of things off (rear bumper, tailgate, stock exhaust, ALL the smog stuff)
But still, 3650 is pretty damn light..should really fly once the motor gets tuned and starts putting out 225rwhp/300rwtq. |

That is pretty light...but not far off...with all the stuff my truck has lost...I am at 3960 and have added what im sure is several hundred lbs in stereo equip/wheels/tires/ bedliner and dynamat.

I envy you light weights. My 77 K/C-10 fully dressed out tips the scales at 5800. With camper shell & 40 gals gas. And all 200lbs of me on board.
