20in. wheel and tire size?

Hi all, First off i have a 87 1/2 ton 2wd lwb and i'm going to do a 2/4 drop. The wheels i'm looking at are a stagered fit the front are 20x8.5 with a backspace of 4.75 and the rear are 20x10 with a backspace of 5.5. Will the spacing be alright and what size tires should i use?

I think 245/45/20 on the front and 295/40/20 on the rear would look great

i had 245/40/20 all the way around on my 85.....you gotta watch in the back theres not alot of room if your wheels tuck up in. mine rubbed alittle on the inside of the rear fender well

Re: 20in. wheel and tire size?

well I dont remeber what the spacing was, they were 20x8.5 there was not alot of clearence between the lip of the bedside and they just rubbed a little not all the time i'm guessing going around some sharp turns. they were tucked up in alittle with lowering leaf spring but the backend of a truck with leafspring isnt the most stable setup. it didnt rip up the tires or anything but I would check with some other guys on here and see what there running
