lifting 67 swb 2wd
I posted this on the 67-72 forum but I guess it should have been here. I've always owned a 4x4 and traded for this truck. It's a 2wd lowered on 20s. Doesn't look bad but I love the look of a lifted 67-72. Was wanting opinions on lifting the truck. Would I mainly need to replace the coil shocks. And also what's your alls opinion on lifted 2wd trucks.

Do you actually want a lifted 2wd truck?
Or do you really want a 4x4? I would do a frame swap with a different truck chassis.

Re: lifting 67 swb 2wd
Would rather have a 4x4 but not a lot of money and would really use 4x4 that much anyways so I'd settle with a lifter 2wd. Would like to be able to just lift it enought to run 32x11.50 on it

Re: lifting 67 swb 2wd
You could always add 3/4 ton springs.
Got any pics of it now? You might get someone to trade you, for your drop components.

Re: lifting 67 swb 2wd
Its probably a 2 or 3 inch drop the big wheels just make it set up higher then it is.

Re: lifting 67 swb 2wd
I did some digging fabtech use to make a 2wd lift for the 73-87 truck if you could find one it might work on yours but its a long shot.If it was me i would just do a 4x4 swap on it and be done with it.
