Pics of emergency brake cables turbo 400?
Was the setup for a turbo 400 different than for turbo 350. Got cables from 350 and they appear to be too short for 400. Where does the cable run in relation to the mount ? Thanks

Re: Pics of emergency brake cables turbo 400?
Here is a mocked up tailshaft from a TH 400. As you can see in the picture the cross member for the TH 400 is different from the one for a TH 350. The intermediate cable is shorter since the cross member for the TH 400 sits rearward more and the cable is routed through the eyes on the cross member.

My original 69 CST/20 has only one loop centered on the crossmember under the driveshaft for the cable. Otherwise it's similar to the one posted above.

Here you go. 68 C20 with SBC, TH400, and coil rear, if that matters.

Re: Pics of emergency brake cables turbo 400?
Is the crossmember actually different or does it just bolt into different holes on the frame?

Re: Pics of emergency brake cables turbo 400?
The loops are riveted on the picture of the 72 cross member that I posted.
