Now for the next problem. The motor was ticking and it appears that no oil is getting to the top of the engine. I had just changed the oil last month when I first tried to start it. I guess maybe the oil pump screen got clogged up from sitting so many years. Does anyone have any advise for this motor.

Your welcome.....got a script valve cover for an inline for sale on ebay you should add...lol its only at 80 cents now...will see what all I have left for sixbangers....try some seafoam in it and also try pulling plugs and pouring marvel mystery oil in to help it...always helped my old motors
