What size radiator hold downs

Can somebody tell me what size radiator hold downs I have. Is it for the 3 or 4 core? The first pic is the radiator hold down and the second is the width of the top of the radiator about 2".

I know. For the amount of 4 core radiator holds that are bought and sold on this forum and countless other sites, you would think someone would know the length. I mean isn't that what makes the hold downs different is the length? Maybe I'm wrong but since my radiator is leaking, as of today, I would like to know which radiator I need to buy. Going buy the oreillys website my current radiator is the smaller of the two available but the larger one is $50 cheaper. That being said I still don't know If my hold downs will fit three or four row radiator and I want to be sure BEFORE I buy a new rad, might go with an alminum one of eBay.

Re: What size radiator hold downs

I bought a set of 4 core lowers and they were 4 1/4 inches long where the rad. sets without the rubber, I'm sure the uppers are the same but I can measure my uppers tommorow if needed.

Re: What size radiator hold downs

You might of had more responses if you you showed a pic/measurement of the rubber and the under side clamp of the holddown because the overall length of the holddowns are the same.

Actually the four core rad hold downs are longer 6 3/8" and my three core hold downs are only about 5 3/4" long, which is about the difference in the radiator width as well. Oh well now I am on the hunt for a good set of four core hold downs. Anyone??

My bad, I never noticed the difference in length. I have a box of them and I usually just flip them over and look at the bottom side to see if the rubber is long or short.

Re: What size radiator hold downs

Why don't you just look inside of your radiator and count the rows/cores?
Also, aluminum radiators are different in size, in comparison.
I have a 2 row aluminum radiator that is the same size as a 3 core brass/copper.
