86 to 69 interchange

does anyone know what parts i can use off of an 86 blazer that will work on my 69 ? i found an 86 roller for cheap , i need steering / suspension issues resolved on my 69 . but if there is any other upgrades or anything i can use the input would be appreciated . thanks !

Steering box and parts will interchange. You will have to change power steering pumps since the fitting styles are different. Use the spindles and backing plates to get disc brakes.

Springs will not interchange in the front, but will in the rear.

thanks guys , i've had my 69 for about 7 yrs and half of my problems are fixing what the previous owner rigged up . the steering is terrible . with some research i found that the frame needs a brace added ( the whole frame flexes when wheels are turned ) and the steering shaft is at a huge angle due to body lift , instead of addressing it the other guy just cut the wheel well away . now the bell shaped joint where column and shaft attach is completely discintegrated and it seems he welded the lower u joint to the steering box . basically i have to start over . i already have disc brakes , i know it wasnt a standard option and when i asked the guy about it he said he was the second owner and it was like that so i dont know if it originally came like that or what . i had seen somewhere that guys were using the sway bars from 80's trucks and some other stuff but not sure the full extent

oh yeah , it has 35's , looks like a 3in body lift , and not sure about the suspension lift
