The article shows how to install trailing arms in the rear. You have to fab/install some mounts for the shocks/airbags.

Sorry about that...but for what it's worth, anything's possible with a welder and fab skills. I kinda figured he meant a true "bolt on" swap. The article does make it seem very simple though.

You are right. If you want just bolt on, using the leaf springs and putting the axle on top is the easiest.
