Prepping axle for sand blasting and other related questions?

Can the axle be sand blasted with the gears and everything still in it?
Do I have to worry about the seals where the drive shaft connects?
Can I just have the diff cover on to protect the gears?

I am going to take this to a sandblaster and not do it myself. My compressor is just to small. So what steps should I take to ensure that nothing damaging happens. The pictures are not totally current, I have both hubs, drums, and breaks off. Its just the gears inside.
