69 Burb Rear Liftgate/Hatch Lock
So...I searched around the interwebs for 2 days, and couldn't find what I'm looking for. I searched this forum and came close. Here's what I'm looking at: the rear liftgate/hatch lock does not work properly. I found out on this forum that it's the ignition key, not the door key, that works in that lock. Good info, but you can turn my cylinder with anything that you can get into the keyslot (door key, screwdriver, fingernail, etc.).
I looked all over the place for a new replacement cylinder, but can only find them for front doors, ignition, and glovebox. I would love to have a properly functioning lock, but it seems hopeless. Does anyone know where to get a new lock or how to repair a broken one? Thanks. |

That is still. Salvage part.
Perhaps a skilled locksmith may be able to repair what you have? In the meen time, I would check the burb parts for sale area since it will eventually turn up for sale here. Posted via Mobile Device
